Setting up Staffing for your flock

Staffing is an additional extra that works in conjunction with Venue Management.

Glossary

  • Activity an event that may require staff, usually part of a Booking
  • Duty the definition of a job that needs to be done. Regularly used Duties need to be set up before use. More
  • Ability an attribute needed to perform certain Duties e.g. Staff, First aider, Manager. These need to be set up by an Admin user, and then assigned to Contacts. More
  • Allocation Slot links a Duty to an Activity and a Contact. An activity may have multiple Allocation Slots, but each slot can only have one Contact
  • Shift a special type of Allocation Slot that is not attached to a specific Activity, for tasks that fall outside of Bookings. More
